Warm greetings to you all.
As proud old students of Swedru Secondary School (SWESCO), we carry a shared legacy of discipline, growth, friendship, and unforgettable memories that helped shape who we are today. Today, our beloved school needs us to stand together once again.
The 6-Year Group Committee, responsible for organising the 67th Speech and Prize Giving Day Anniversary, has taken up the important task of championing the SWESCO Sanitation Project. This initiative aims to rebuild and modernise the school's toilet and sanitation facilities, which are now in need of significant improvement.
While the school continues to do its best with the limited resources available, the current conditions fall short of what our students deserve. As alumni who benefited greatly from this great institution, it is important that we come together to help create a safer, cleaner, and more dignified environment for the young people who now walk the same corridors we once walked.
To address this critical need, the 6-Year Group Committee has proposed the construction of a modern 20-seater sanitation facility, complete with improved waste management, water systems, and modern hygiene infrastructure. This project goes beyond construction — it reflects our collective responsibility to uplift our alma mater and ensure the well-being of current and future students.
